As a church we believe that Christianity is relevant to us as a society and that God wants to be part of our lives in every aspect. With this in mind we aim to be a church that is actively involved in the community, expressing the love of God through action, worship and teaching, whether that be on Sunday, Saturday or a weekday.

church Ryde Elim Church is a warm, friendly, Pentecostal family church. We have a mix of ages from the very young to the more mature and events and activities that cater for al!
Our main services are on Sundays at 10:30am and 6:30pm at Ryde Elim Church . Both services are followed by refreshments and a time to chat.

Sunday Morning: 10:30am
our Sunday morning communion service at Ryde Elim Church is our main Sunday meeting with a congregation of about 40. We have a mix of lively praise and reflective worship songs alongside the teaching of the bible. During the service there are various children’s groups which cover ages 4 upwards. There is also a crèche available for children younger than 4. If you don't mind staying a little
later we serve tea, coffee and biscuits after service.

Sunday Evening: 6:30pm
Each week we meet for a time of informal praise and worship in the evening along with the ministry of the bible. This service is more informal than the morning and has a smaller congregation. Each week the service follows a slightly different format. we generally get together to chat about the bible and a certain passage as opposed to the usual message from the front. We want people to explore the bible together and that's what we do in the evening service and also in our cell groups. After the service we have time together to chat and mingle over a cup of tea or coffee. Once a month we meet with the local churches for a Churches together service, the venue changes each month so watch the diary for details. We also occasionally have a film night when we tend to watch a high quality Christian film.
